IELTS stands for the International English Language Testing System. It is a globally recognised system used to assess English proficiency for the purposes of immigration, study, and employment in most English-speaking countries.
The test assesses four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
IELTS is available in two formats - General and Academic, the latter being for those who wish to pursue further study in an English-speaking country.
IELTS scores are between 0 and 9 in 0.5 increments (for example, 6, 6.5, 7, etc.)
You will receive a score from 0 to 9 for each of the sections, and your final score is the average.
All students are provided with a course book and supplementary materials.
