There are two levels offered at Academia, Upper Intermediate (English for Academic Purposes 1) and Advanced (English for Academic Purposes 2). More information on these levels is below.

Courses start every week and run from Monday to Thursday, totalling 20 hours per week.

Students entering English for Academic Purposes 1 will need to achieve an Upper-Intermediate (GE5) level of our General English course (IELTS score of approximately 5.0).

English for Academic Purposes 2

Students who complete English for Academic Purposes 1 will be eligible to enter English for Academic Purposes 2.

English for Academic Purposes 2 is designed to prepare you for university, so students must achieve an Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English to enter (IELTS score of approximately 5.5).
