The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care builds on the skills acquired in the Certificate III but also helps students understand how to plan, implement, and run various programs in childcare facilities.

The Diploma includes 280 hours of practical work placement in a childcare centre.
Entry into this course, you must hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
As part of both of our childcare courses, you’ll be required to participate in placement at an approved childcare facility.
Academia has industry partnerships with more than 70 registered childcare facilities in Brisbane and Melbourne, and will organise placement for you.
Childcare placement is a critical part of your learning, as it is an opportunity to put the skills learnt into practice, during real-life situations.
Nationally recognised training (NRT) consists of Training Package Qualifications and Skill sets, Accredited Qualifications and Courses, Unit of Competency, and Accredited Modules that leads to vocational qualifications and credentials that are recognised across Australia
