Within both the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, students can choose to major in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie.
The major refers to the Certificate Courses 'embedded' within the respective Diploma programs. You can study hospitality management concurrently with your specialisation in commercial cookery or patisserie.

Take charge of your team! A DIploma of Hospitality Management will teach you how to coordinate all hospitality operations, from day-to-day tasks to staff management, to high-level tasks like OH&S and marketing!
This course is made up of two semesters studying at Academia, followed by the third - an industry internship. During these dynamic weeks, you’ll be gaining hands-on experience in a real-life hotel, restaurant, or other hospitality establishment.
The Advanced Diploma develops skills that help you make a range of decisions at a senior managerial level in the hospitality industry.
We recommend completing the Diploma of Hospitality Management course before commencing this course. You can also complete the Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie, depending on your preferred pathway.
