Certificate III in Patisserie
In this course, you’ll learn all of the general cooking and hospitality skills you need to create delicious desserts and pastries.
You will learn to perfect many of the skills that are involved in the art of patisserie.
Through compulsory placement, you will also improve your teamwork and communication, gain hygiene knowledge, and learn how to effectively manage your time in a fast-paced environment.
Your training will be carried out in kitchens equipped with all the commercial cooking appliances you need.
You will be assessed on the skills you have learnt in a number of different ways including written and practical tests or assignments.
Above all, you’ll learn in a friendly, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Certificate IV in Patisserie
After you have completed a Certificate III in Patisserie you will be eligible to expand your repertoire and catch the eye of employers by completing your Certificate IV in Patisserie.
With the knowledge you have gained from your Certificate III, you will be taught a range of specialist patisserie skills that make you a great candidate for a more senior role within the kitchen.
One of the most exciting skills you will learn as part of the Certificate IV is the creation of chocolate and sugar products!
You will also be trained in the ways of being a leader in the kitchen. You will be taught how to effectively supervise and manage your team, as well as market yourself to the public. This is an invaluable skill as it make you very attractive to employers, and may bookmark you for advancement within the team you are employed in.
Pathways available after studying our patisserie courses
Once you have completed a Certificate IV in Patisserie you will be eligible for a plethora of job opportunities in the hospitality industry.
You will be able to work as a commercial patisserie chef or a junior kitchen member in almost any hospitality environment. Craving the sweetest job in the world? You’ve now got the skills and knowledge under your belt to be employed as a chocolatier!
There is also the additional option of continuing your studies after the completion of your Certificate IV. You may now be eligible to enrol in and work towards a Diploma of Hospitality Management (majoring in Patisserie).
