Certificate III in Hairdressing is the standard qualification for the hairdressing industry and all course units will be assessed in a workplace environment or in our Salons open to the public.
Certificate III in Hairdressing offers breadth, depth and complexity of knowledge and competencies covering selecting, adapting and transferring skills and knowledge to new environments. Certificate III in Hairdressing provides you with the technical advice and early leadership skills for problem resolution. Such skills can be applied across a range of roles in a variety of contexts and some complexity of choice of options available.
You will be able to perform across a defined range of skills within a broader range of activities than in Certificate II in Hairdressing, involving set routines, methods and procedures. You will be able to use your own judgment and discretion in equipment selection, services or contingency measures all within known time constraints.
Activities may involve individual some responsibility for others and you will be expected to work in the college team environment which may involve some team co-ordination.
