The Diploma in Hospitality represents a qualification that is based on very sophisticated technical applications involving competencies requiring increased theoretical knowledge, applied in a non-routine environment and which involves team leadership, management and increased responsibility for better outcomes.

It reflects the role of a Manager, Chef and Sous Chef.

The course is delivered face-to-face through classroom-based learning as well as our on-campus commercial kitchens. A range of methods will assess you throughout your studies, including practical observation, knowledge testing, and assignments.

The Patisserie Stream incorporates units from the Certificate IV in Patisserie.

We recommend obtaining this qualification before starting the Diploma of Hospitality Management (Patisserie).

Alternatively, these two courses can be packaged together!

During two years of study, you can complete a dual qualification of Certificate IV in Patisserie and Diploma of Hospitality Management (Patisserie) at Academia.
