CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Your career as a childcare worker begins with the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Do you enjoy working with children? Do you have a caring and teaching nature? This qualification covers workers who use organisation policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes. Depending on the setting, workers may work under direct supervision or autonomously.
As part of your studies at Academia, you will be placed at a licensed Childcare Centre to undertake your workplace training which is a mandatory requirement in attaining your certificate III in Early Childhood Education and care. Our workplace assessors will organize and manage the placement for you and visit your workplace to ensure you are receiving the assistance necessary to succeeding attaining your qualification.

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care will combine classroom training with on the job training by our highly qualified training staff. Students will be able to put into practice skills that they have learnt in classroom through placement at a registered Childcare Facility.
This course is delivered face-to-face, through a combination of tutorials and workshops. You will be assessed through written tests, assignments and work placements.
