This school course prepares students to work at Management level with a broad range of skills for the Hospitality Industry. Areas covered at this schools course are advanced skills and knowledge in finance, staff supervision and quality management. Candidates can choose to complete the schools Diploma of Hospitality Management to incorporate a major in Commercial Cooking or Patisserie. The major refers to the Certificate Courses 'embeded' within the Diploma program.
Your first course choice reflects the role of a Manager, Team Leader or Trainer in various five star Hospitality Operations, covering major hotel functional areas such as Food & Beverage, Customer Service, accommodation, Finance and Marketing.
Your second course choice reflects the role of a qualified Sous Chef, based on very sophisticated technical applications involving competencies requiring increased theoretical cooking knowledge, applied in a non-routine environment and which involves team leadership, management and increased responsibility for better outcomes.

All of the schools courses are approved and recognised by the Victorian Qualifications Authority. All Academia International students undergo practical training in simulated salon conditions which is balanced by theoretical tuition in our class room facilities.
All courses are approved and fully Government Accredited for International Students. Australian students who are eligible may apply for Youth Allowance / Austudy / Abstudy payment assistance.
