Our Salons open to the public, equipped with the latest hairdressing tools allows for real hands-on practical experience to maximise your job placement opportunities in the field of hairdressing.  Furthermore, as Academia International College is one of Melbourne's multi - courses schools, our hairdressing students have access to full class room facilities for theoretical tuition and state of the art PCs for Internet research of the Hairdressing Industry, project development and general computer skill tuition.

Our Hairdressing Instructors have up to 10 years of Training experience with an average of 15+ years Industry experience, all still enjoying working as hairdressers in leading salons/free lance.

All courses are approved and recognised by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority. All Academia International students undergo practical training in simulated salon conditions which is balanced by theoretical tuition in our class room facilities.

 

All courses are approved and fully Government Accredited for International Students. Australian students who are eligible may apply for Youth Allowance / Austudy / Abstudy payment assistance.

Our students are supervised by qualified and industry-experienced trainers whilst working on clients.  On occasion models are required for training purposes, if interested enquire within.
