Certificate IV students whom wish to extend their studies to include training in salon ownership and team management need to complete the Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management (WRH50106).

Entry is also open to those wishing to acquire the Management skills only.

To achieve the Diploma of Hairdressing Salon Management WRH50106, the following courses units must be completed. The units of competency offer breadth, depth and complexity covering planning and initiation of alternative approaches to skills across a broad range of technical and/or management requirements, evaluation and coordination.

You will be able to direct a team and use you’re in depth knowledge and skills in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques. You will participate in developing strategic initiatives and take personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organizing others. This will include participating in teams concerned with planning and evaluation functions as well as coordinating teams.
