Australian and New Zealand Students Application Process
Entry requirements for Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses (Domestic Students)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum year 10 completion or equivalent for Certificate entry and year 12 or equivalent for Diploma entry. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18 an enrolment interview is required.
Mature age students can also enter based on an interview where they need to demonstrate industry experience in the field of study they wish to enrol
Pre-requisite units applicable for some qualifications
Students enrolling in Vocational courses are required to undertake a Placement test to determine any special support required from trainers and staff

Important: Academia is approved by Centrelink for Austudy, Abstudy and Youth Allowance.
Select the campus then faculty
(e.g. Hospitality) and course(s)
(e.g. Certificate IV) you wish to study.
Complete the Enrolment Form (Domestic Students)
and mail, email or fax to us:

Submit supporting evidence documents
Submit supporting evidence documents (Originals in person or certified copies) along with the Enrolment Form and undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy test for us to determine if you require any additional support.
Course Offer letter
If successful a Course Offer letter will be issued. Please read the terms and conditions of the offer and contact us if anything is unclear.
Accept the offer
Accept the offer, by signing and returning the acceptance section of the Offer Letter
Once we receive your payment Academia will confirm a place in the course selected to you in writing with an Acceptance Advice.
